Minutes: Feb. 18, 2001 (fwd) -by Cassia Ines Faria Martin Send to hrsfa-announce Feb 19, 2001 ______________________________________________________________________ 1. The Masq was a success; there were more people in attendance than expected. Neil's skit was enjoyed by all, especially when it ended with the (perhaps obvious) assertion, that VeriCon, in fact, rocks. Yay! 2. Elections: Final election results were as follows: Co-Chair: Bryn Neuenshwander and Dennis Clark Infernal: Cassia Martin Exfernal: Rebecca Starr Treasurer: Tony Vila Editor-In-Chief: Ben Miller As in, it was commented, any succesful game of mafia, the first round (co-chair) went for at least an hour-and-a-half, but the rest proceeded fairly quickly. There were mentos. 3. Some people would like to go to NonCon, which is being held the weekend of March 2-4 by Vassar College (in Poughkeepsie, NY). Many members of their group came to VeriCon, so it seemed appropriate to reciprocate. There is some info on their website (www.noncon.net). If you are interested in coming, email Tom (lotze@fas), and tell him how late your commitments run on Friday (in order to figure out transportation). 4. As some people might be going to NonCon in two weeks, there was some discussion (I'm not sure if this was actually at the meeting) of moving the date for non-constitutional nominations forward a week. Word will go out if anything is decided. As Sever was about to close, we adjourned to Pizzeria Uno's. Fun was had by all. Cassia Martin Infernal Secretary
