Meeting Minutes * Sunday, November 14th From: Michael Richard Von Korff Date: Thu Nov 18 2004 - 12:48:35 PST Dan:" I have developed a bond with the furniture." Kaitlin: "But has it developed a bond with you?" Everyone: "LARP!!!" Matt and Warren: "Mango!" Warren: "You have killed Kaitlin. You gain 25xp, 7gp, and a... sword of scorpion slaying." The LARP -------- It happened. Cthulhu told us, "May your spawn have many tentacles." So that was cool. Email Kaitlin with info on what happened to your character on Saturday. Also, if you haven't played in the LARP yet, don't worry-- email Kaitlin and make a character, and you can play next time. The Fall Party --- Friday, 9pm, in either Matt's room or the Lowell belltower. (Further updates on location as events warrant.) There'll be a Scavenger Hunt starting at around 9:30, as well as all sorts of food and fun-ness. Fusion ------ Still wants submissions. As Genghis Khan might have said, "Submit or die, wretches! I am the great Genghis Khan!" Only, he wasn't talking about stories, he was talking about pizza. Or something. Cosplay Human Chess --- It's on Saturday, 8:30pm to 11:30pm, in the Pfoho dining hall. There'll be lots of costumes and other coolness. VeriCon ------- Registration is "up." There are some technical difficulties, but they should be sorted out very soon. But once that's sorted out, everyone who wants to register to attend the Con or register events at the Con will be able to do so. VeriCon is also looking for ideas for panels for our guests. Email guests@vericon.org with ideas; you can check out who's going to be coming to the Con at vericon.org. Also, the Con needs a car to drive guests around-- email guests@vericon.org if you have a car you wouldn't mind lending. The Incredibles --- It's a good movie, even though it doesn't have Nicholas Cage in it. That's not why Noam drew Nicholas Cage "leaping for joy" on the blackboard. SIGs ---- BAKING --- Will be making pumpkin pie. COOL MOVIES --- Watched Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels last night. GAMING --- No gaming this Friday, since everyone will be living it up at the fall party. BIZARRENESS --- Kitty. Shuttle. Bench.
