Noam: "Cody and I had a very good idea. We haven't had dim sum in a long time. Mmmm, dim sum." Kartik: "Solution-- kill Cody and Noam and bury them in Chinatown." --- VERICON --- A MESSAGE FROM VERICON: VeriCon hungry. VeriCon want games! VeriCon want RPGs! VeriCon want CCGs! VeriCon want people to run these events! VeriCon want more food. VeriCon want people to register on website! If you want feed VeriCon, run LARP or tabletop RPG. Talk to her if you're interested; she'll announce more soon. We listened to A SONG about VeriCon. It exhorted us to Hold the Kartik, Touch the Kartik, Love the Kartik, and Save the Kartik. I've already done all of those, but the rest of should do 'em too. --- SIGS --- Baking: Latkes on Tuesday. Mmm, Latkes. Cody'll announce more soon. Cool Movie SIG: We watched Sneakers last week. Mmm, Sneakers. Also, the Thomas Crown Affair this Wednesday. Gaming: We didn't game this week. Sorry. No gaming. In fact, we're never going to game again. Nope. Actually, we never gamed at all-- you just imagined it. LARP: The next session will be this Saturday, December 11th, at 6:15pm in Sever Hall. If you haven't played yet and don't have a character, don't worry-- just contact Kaitlin and she'll show you a picture of a snail. (Where by 'show you a picture of a snail' I mean 'help you build your character.') Gaming: ...we'll game officially this Friday. Meanwhile, Vincent wants to play a lot of Chinese Chess. Peter is interested in playing Go and Foosball, and in fact wants to start Go SIG and Foosball SIG-- contact him if you're interested in these SIGs. Magic: It drafted on Saturday night. It'll probably do that again soon... Milk and Cookies: Will meet Friday, December 17th, in Leverett. Because Lester is cool. RPG: A bunch of folk went to Novalis' place to look at Exalted books. Also, there'll be a Dark Ages: Fey one-shot on the solstice-- Tuesday, December 21st. Kaitlin will be GMing. SmallVIG: No SmallVIG this week. Video Game SIG: We continue to be scandalized by the growing evidence of Peter and Kartik's tempestuous affair: 1. Peter has a key to Kartik's room. 2.
