The meeting opens with discussion of recent HRSFA activities:

Coming of the Hour - the Cult of Chronos marched about the Yard in the wee
hours of the morning to mark the end of Daylight Savings Time.  Drunk freshmen
were confused.

Wild Hunt - Halloween evening.  A pack of blue-painted HRSFANs wearing little
other than said paint pursued Larry Lee through the streets of Cambridge.  
Strange looks were collected, especially when the quarry was carried back to 
Adams House on a pole.

Guy Fawkes Day - on Nov. 5, a horde of HRSFA anglophiles carried an effigy of 
the poor unfortunate who attempted to blow up parliament and was hanged for 
his trouble.  A major holiday in Britain, we collected ("Penny for the Guy?") 
about $15, to go to Safteywalk.

Princess Bride will be shown on Nov. 12th and 13th, and all are exhorted to 
poster.

A book buying expedition went to the MITSFA used book sale and picked up 
51 books for $17.

A request was made for new rituals, akin to the Coming of the Hour or the 
Hunt, that can be done during daytime.  Ideas should be addressed to 
Matt Duhan or anyone else who will listen.

Anime Oh? - a mini Anime Aaargh will occur sometime this semester.

Masquerade - Lori Rodruigez is put in charge of the Masq.

SIG Reports:

	- Writer's met, making some rules and reading some good stories.
	- MST3K met and watched the Castle of Fu Manchu.
	- Star Trek has been running around like a SIG with its head cut off.
	Gaming SIG:
	- Jade & Silver made characters.
	- Ars Magica met with a feeble cadre of three players.
	- BearMeatWorld brought the players into conflict with a 
	  notorious assassin.
	- GURPS Illuminati met.
	- Dean is organizing a Magic the Gathering Tournament SIG.

Friday, Nov 12 at 4:22 pm is MIThenge, when the setting sun shines the 
length of the infinite corridor.

Filcon will be the weekend of the 13th, and a plug is made for Arisia 
pre-registration.

Mark Millman sets out rules for his participation in masquerade skit 
choreography or the teaching of stage rapier/dagger combat.

Munchies SIG meets.
