Minutes, 30 October 1994 Recorded by Chris Exner --------------------------------------------------- Meeting comes to order with reports of events past. Coming of the Hour happened, with about three dozen participants, including some who probably did not intend to join the ritual but decided to choose poorly on the spur of the moment. The Wyld Hunt happened, and a blue-clad co-chair Jaegermeister ran into her thesis advisor. MST3K showed Zombie Nightmare in the Science Center. Guy Fawkes Day observance is announced for the fifth of November. Fusion sets a Nov. 7th deadline for submissions. Begs for art, ads. Anime Argh will happen, either near Thanksgiving or Reading Period. Milk & Cookies will rise again from the dead to torment the living with horrible, putrefying cute zombie teddy bears and the succulent chocolate chip cookies of the eternally damned. Or something like that. SIG Reports: BBC watched the amusingly named "Day of the Triffids." Writers' SIG got no stories, seeks a better meeting time. Comic SIG got some new dictators who are taking a census of the comic library. MST3K watched "The Dead Talk Back" in which they didn't, and "The Last of the Wild Horses," which was just bad. Anime SIG has great plans. Gaming SIG: BearMeatWorld did a Jurassic Park crossover. Ravenloft is imminent. GURPS Apocalypse is meeting with a skeleton crew. "I am NOT a Viking" World went looking for a runaway book. Magic: the Gathering refuses to go away. The Game-a-thon will happen during intersession. The Munchies Czar has a birthday and we all show respect by not singing. "Money - we don't know what it is, but it's shiny."
