Anime Argh IV: you'll need an IV after this one will be the weekend of Dec. 3. Matt D. puts out a call for dedicated volunteers to make the ultimate sacrifice in the name of choosing poorly. There is discussion of trying to get author Joe Haldeman to do a Q & A session at Harvard which would include the fun and business aspects of SF. The deadline for early membership to Arisia (cheaper) is Dec. 1. Yearbook photos will be taken at the next meeting (Dec. 4) so dress impressively. Word has come down that we will be kicked out of our office sometime this year. All are encouraged to ask their House Masters if there exists a suitable space somewhere that we could use for our soon-to-be-homeless library. Currier, Cabot, Quincy, Lowell done to date. SIG Reports: MST3K: TV's Frank will be leaving the show, so in his honor the best Frank episode was watched -- Village of the Giants. Also, the Crawling Eye happened. Writers' SIG had lots of stuff to read that was headed for Fusion. Milk & Cookies had a plethora of food and teddy bears. BBC - the usual, plus Trial of a Timelord. Anti-anime watched Warriors of the Wind, which is just Naussica without good parts. Gaming SIG: Nathanworld visited Rome with two-headed birds and smart elephants. HRSFAns did a huge live-action something-or-other. Civilization was played, resulting in great suffering in Egypt. Ravenloft played a bit with Frankenstein. BearMeatWorld had a short meating. "I am NOT a Viking" world becomes Chariotworld during a civil war. Apocalypse remains in limbo. Magic: the Gathering continues as usual. Guy Fawkes Day report - it hit the Quad and made about $20 for Safteywalk. The Masquerade is coming up and organization of it is discussed. Munchies. "Mmmmm. Tastes like chicken."
