Although the turnout was very low, it is agreed that his talk was interesting and worthwhile. The Game-a-thon will occur on 1/27/95 and 1/28/95, to be organized by Chris Hernandez. SIG Reports - Writers' SIG failed to meet. - Milk & Cookies had a dearth of stuffed animals and a visiting author. - MST3K watched two films with "Santa Claus" in the title. - BBC watched two episodes of everything they had. - Anime will have a Ranma-thon sometime in the future. Gaming SIG - Nathanworld met and suffered from illiteracy. - Jade & Silver finally reached the present. - BearMeatWorld was entertained by bad dice rolls from C. Sammells. - ChariotWorld went looking for a lost helmet. - Magic: the Gathering continues to meet. The Masquerade will be in February, to be organized mainly by Ny Martin. A previously proposed constitutional amendment to eliminate the necessity of a quorum for the conducting of certain HRSFA business is considered. However, a quorum of votes was not attained so the meeting was not adjourned while further attempts were made to get more votes. Munchies meets. Minutes of HRSFA Meeting 1/8/94 Meeting continues from 12/18, making this the longest recorded HRSFA meeting. Enough votes, in person and by proxy, are obtained to amend the constitution so as to require either advance warning or a quorum for the following bits of HRSFA business: elections, constitutional amendments, or removal of an officer. Game-a-thon plans are made. SIG Reports Comics SIG assures us all that it exists. Star Trek - will have a big meeting to watch the pilot episode of Voyager. Anime did actually have a Ranma-thon MST3K failed to meet. Writers' SIG also failed to meet. Gaming SIG - Nathanworld went to a glass city. - BearMeatWorld spent the winter in a place with low ceilings. - Roborally met for an unnecessarily long time. The Masquerade is still attempting to exist. Arisia will occur on the weekend of 1/14. There will be a Prisoner-thon at Fandom House sometime (yes, it's legal).
