The military wing of hrsfa called the meeting to order (while waving a staff)

SIG Reports
Senior Brunch: Many people attended (more than were present at the 
beginning of this meeting,'Where is everyone anyway?').  A good meal and 
a wonderful time were had. Clare recieved book entitled "Is your mama a 
llama? Seniors will be much missed!

Randomess SIG: got into a conversation on strategies to deal with religious 
              fanatics. Tyg's prize of an inflatable Alf was shown.
BBC: met in Drew's room, finally returned Tonia's tapes so she is 
	probably no longer out for their blood.
Piracy SIG: Everyone is encouraged to write down the tapes they would 
	like copied, and bring the list to the next meeting.
MST3K:watched "Sampson vs the Vampire Women" 'It was tremendous', There 
	will definitely be a film in the theaters around Sept 24th.
Voyager:day has temporarily moved again, a new episode on  Thursday at 8pm.
                     ****** Gaming SIG *****
Ravenloft:actually has someone that can wield a sword, but is totally inept at
	everything else. On the brink of death=just another Ravenloft day.
ARS Magica:lots of backtracking, is now ruled by committee.
X-files:investigated the meteorite/UFO/government experiment, decided that it 
	was not alien cows and it might be a plot for more government parking.
Amber:someone did not attend, so the activity of the session was to look for 
	them (after all our world is a shadow of Amber).
Jade and Silver:still going, still evil, total war, narrowly missed 
	destruction of 3 planets, destruction of universe narromly averted. 
Bearmeat: met elves and folks including pixies with the power of changing 
	people to animals, 'Um...as I recall there was some kind of fight'. 
Chariot world:still has no name.

Game-a-thon:date has been changed to weekend of May 12th .
	(Correction to last meetings minutes: Idea for Game/anime-a-thon was 
	thought up by Matt Duhan).
	"Let it be known that there is an inherent advantage to coming to 
	meetings"-Kevin, on the topic of voting to change date.

Fusion:'If we manage to get our magazine out maybe we should call it 
	Confusion.' Well actually Fusion was just about done, but then 
	disk got lost."Yes, the dog ate fusion","With Honors hrsfa Sig",
	Luckily all is not lost, the unformatted stories are on other disks.
Writer's Sig: Encourages submission of new material.

Financial Report: What we have currently is a NOW account with 1.7% interest.
(Mutual funds it was decided were not a good idea). There is a possibility
of putting some money in a CD (certificate of deposit) for around 3.5-6.6%
interest depending on the time period.Talk to Mike if you want more info.

Myld Hunt: will take place this Sunday meeting at 1pm in the Dunster 
courtyard. keep in mind that this year they will be invading the houses 
on their stroll to Memorial church steps for a snack, and then finally up 
to the quad for tea and a game of croquet. The fox (Alden) has requested more
hiding and less running this year. Dress nicely in your best English 
style. Start learning Edward Gory or Tom Leer songs now. E-mail Nye if 
interested in helping with the food.

Kevin starts a discourse on 'the thousand points of hrsfa' about looking 
for new ideas and new events, neat, bizarre and confusing things to do. 
Alden suggests that we have a contest to see which underclassman could 
come up with the best idea.
