At this point the meeting was best decribed as "and chaos reigns" People (many formally dressed) were laughing, yelling, motioning, filibustering, banging on tables, painting fingernails(Rose), and standing on chairs,(I was too busy laughing to take minutes). Claudia exercised her privilege as Sonic Master, and it _briefly_ quieted. Unofficial Cool Movie PSIG:is now officially part of hrsfa. It's 3 conditions having been voted on and passed [1. they keep their name (The Unofficial Cool Movie P SIG), 2.budgets which give them $ must only pass by 1 only vote, 3. Hrsfa declares The Man and The Breakfast Sandwhich as anathema (There was much fingerpointing & controversy about The Man's identity)]. Mentos:Allen went on a vision quest and fasted for 24 hours,'visions of Mentos rollling toward me...said to join hrsfa...must attempt to gain power and spread freshness...must link with Bizzarreness sig and begin a randomly self funded postering campain...Lanz fruit chews the anti-Mentos need to be obliterated!' -the chaos continues- **"There are no Mentos under your nose, Sir"** ***"Parlimentary Procedure only works in hrsfa when people want it to"** Mentos affiliation (subgroup of Bizareness and The Cool Movie Psig) vote passed. Vote to declre Lanz fruit chews anethema fails (despite threat to bring it up at every meeting till it passes), free speech then looses 10-1 as mention of lanz=banned at meeting. Neil Gaiman:creator of Sandman, boston visit and talk for the Comic Legal Defense fund, will occur in Sept.(barring a hrsfa massacre before then). Anime Argh:Will occur the day after Game-A-Thon (Sunday January 28th). for 24 hrs or so. Room w/ tv vcr needed! Babylon 5 etc.:Cladia has the new comic books as well as info from Vision convention in Chicago. Movie Slot:Hrsfa has one!!!!!(we got second to last one which is for spring reading period), although we are trying to get an earlier slot. Movie choices will be dealt with later.
