**Minutes of the hrsfa meeting on January 7,1996 in Sever 110, at 7pm**
	Despite the snowstorm the meeting was well attended and long lasting.
Alumni Newsletter:Minister of Death, aka Eliot, has finished a draft, which 
   will be e-mailed to hrsfa-list soon.
UC: gave us no $ for game-a-thon, Unanimous vote to politely decline all 
   official UC sponsorship of the game-a-thon.
	Brief pause for Yearbook Photo
Movie Slot: We have May 3rd & 4th (the day classes end but before too 
   many people are studying). Vote passed to commit ourselves to try to show 
   _Toy Story_, and if we could not get it to resort to _Goldeneye_, 12 
   monkeys came in third. A motion passed to "forbid Alden from graduating 
   so that he can keep tagging movies","friends don't let friends choose 
   wisely".
Arisia: is this coming weekend, guest of honor C.J. Chereh (yes, Zil I 
   can't spell), decision to apply for Arisia grants for Fusion and game-a-thon.
Fusion:submit Cyrus stuff by end of January. If you are writing find 
   someone to draw for you (Jed Wahl, Christella, and Rose were volunteered 
   in ausentia).
T-shirt:decision to have a T-shirt meeting, theory: We want T-shirt,if 
   somehow people get together after finals it might get done.
X-Files:tapes are now in the hrsfa library.
Masque: The Skit has a secret plan, but "no script mind you", hint=MTV is 
   singled out.   
  Music: if you want a certain type of music, bring it to the music choosing 
   meeting during intersession.  If you have suggestions for music, but 
   don't own/can't borrow cd's/tapes, then e-mail suggestions to Alden 
   (Amstrock@fas).
  Date: try for February 24th, 1996 (second choice is March 2nd).
Game-a-thon:during intersession Saturday Jan 27th & Sun. Jan 28th.
   Location:still under consideration, 
  Contact Aaron Mandel (amandel@fas) if you want to run a RPG game or 
   other game that requires preknowledge/preparation. (ie. not the  kind of 
   game where someone can just "pick up a box and start hollering till 
   someone plays with them"). Plea to reconstruct the rules to Fuzzy Heroes.
Writer's SIG:Would like to set a date for a meeting, sometime after 
   Amanda's total of 12 straight days of final exams (after Jan 23rd). 
   Suggestion was made for a writer's room at the game-a-thon. 
There will be NO meeting on January 21st due to final exams, next meeting
   is February 4th=Nominations for Officer positions, etc.
