We haven't heard a lot from the organizers whom we referred to as "K" and "A". As far as we know, Matt Duhan is taking care of the music, Tara is doing the food, Igor has the skit, and Loker has been obtained. We probably should poster (although any unsuspecting strangers who wander into the Masq generally flee for their lives). If anyone has a strong urge to create posters for the Masq let either "K" (kniedzw@fas) and "A" know. If not, Igor will do them. There will be a suggested donation, probably $5 for non-members and $3 for hrsfans. GOING OF THE HOUR The Going of the Hour is also this Saturday. It has not yet been planned, so we will scramble and get something set up. PREFROSH ACTIVITIES FAIR There will be an activities fair for prefrosh weekend, so we should table. I've emailed the people in charge, but there hasn't been a response yet. Since Spring Break isn't technically over yet, I'll give them a little more time. More on this at a later date. EMERGENCY DECISION Over break, Matt Duhan offered to make us a CD mix for the Masq. Igor and Matt agreed to pay him for the costs. We voted to pay him a reasonable amount for said CD. DANCING ON ASIMOV'S GRAVE SIG We voted to change this to Dancing-on-Graves SIG. We will dance on Asimov's grave, Anne McCaffrey's grave (when she dies), and Kyle's. KILL KYLE SIG We thought that it would be fun (no offense, Kyle). This is not affiliated with Dancing-on-Graves SIG. We believe that this SIG has already been in existence, but has had scattered leadership. SPRING PARTY We still need a room. I'll email the list. READING PERIOD GAT More on this later. MYLD HUNT Chris Hall is in charge. Who wants to do food? MAGIC SIG Moses made the top 8 at a recent tournament. Chris Manning qualified for the Pro tour. There is talk of an intercollegiate Magic tournament. ALUM REUNION? Happening? When? Is this the same thing as the 10 year celebration? We'll get back to this. BAB5 Getting really bad STAR TREK Rumors: Next year will be the last year for DS9, so Voyager will be the only Star Trek show. Supposedly Voyager will be getting rid of Janeway, Chakotay, and B'lanna (sp?) <> and 7 will become the new 1st officer. Voyager will return to the Alpha Quadrant and become the flagship of the Federation. The next movie is due out around Thanksgiving. FUSION Kelly needs to make posters for Fusion. We vote to allocate $20. WRITERS SIG Met before Break. Will meet next week.
